Another Year, the Same Mission: Carrying Victoria and David’s Legacy Forward

Another year has passed, yet the loss of Victoria remains ever present. Time does not dull the absence of a child taken too soon, nor does it quiet the resolve that followed her passing. What began as unimaginable grief became a mission rooted in purpose, accountability, and action.

Victoria’s Voice was founded to ensure that no family feels alone in the fight against substance use disorder. Since Victoria’s passing, the organization has expanded its reach and deepened its impact, saving lives through education, advocacy, and direct support. With each passing year, the importance of this work only grows.

This past year brought another profound loss with the passing of David. David was not only a devoted husband and father, but a relentless advocate who transformed personal tragedy into a national movement. His leadership, voice, and vision shaped Victoria’s Voice into a foundation that has touched millions of lives. While his presence is deeply missed, his influence endures through the mission he helped build and the lives that continue to be saved.

I have continued to support Victoria’s Voice because this mission does not pause with time or loss. Ongoing commitment is essential for the foundation to expand its reach, strengthen its programs, and continue providing life-saving resources to families in need. I encourage anyone who is able to support this work and help advance a cause that truly makes a difference. Learn more or contribute at victoriasvoice.foundation/donate.

Loss has a way of clarifying what truly matters. It reinforces why continued action is necessary and why community involvement plays such a critical role. Substance use disorder does not discriminate. It impacts families across every background, community, and economic level, and progress depends on collective awareness and compassion.

Action, education, and support are what drive real change. I am proud to stand alongside Victoria’s Voice and support an organization that continues to turn loss into lasting impact.

The mission continues. The message matters. And together, we can help ensure that fewer families experience the heartbreak that made this work necessary.
